Authentic Edo period original, c.1845, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture by an artist of the UTAGAWA School.  From the shunga series, Uotori (fish & bird) ajiwai (taste) kurabe (comparison).  An interesting - and if not odd - shunga with each scene in the book comparing the sexual organs/acts of the lovers to either fish and/or birds.  Hence, the animal cartouche at the top corner of each shunga picture.  The author is Insuitei. 
Shunga woodblock print picture measures 17.5 cm x 21.6 cm.  Very good colors and impressions.  Condition is good with some light wear and soiling, wormage at bottom border, and one repair piece on reverse.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
